Law & Order: Criminal Intent Thread #1
 I love this show, plain and simple. Out of the entire franchise, it's my favorite. My favorite episode, and there is no doubt about it, is Anti-Thesis. The writers prove that Det. Eames is actually useful in the ep. and the ending in the interrogation room is, by far, the most intense scene I've ever seen on television. Pitch in! Start some conversation! Sadly, it seems like I'm always doing something on Sunday so I've only seen a handful of eps but I like the differences in the way the cases are presented as opposed to the other shows.

So many people list Criminal Intent as their least favorite! The only thing I don't like about it is that... somehow... mysteriously... Detective Goren knows everything. No books, search engines, or hours of reflection required - He just knows. It's really kind of creepy.
My favorite thing is Olivia d'Abo. Sure, she was just a guest star, but she's coming back for this season's finale and she interacted sooo brilliantly with D'Onofrio. __________________

Yeah, Emily, Olivia d'Abo has humungous, bright white teeth. You could shine the bat signal on them. She's a good actress, though.

What do you guys think each of the four characters add to the show? It's rough for Carver seeing as hardly any of the cases go to court... __________________

Just because. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] But, really, I guess it is because he's always thinking, reasoning on something, looking for clues to figure out what's going on. I like how he's SO observant of his surroundings and things that the criminals say and/or do. __________________

My first [img]smilies/love.gif[/img] of course is Detective Goren....his intutition, his insights and deducing just about drives me as insane as it does his partner Eames....to which my 2nd favorite is EAMES. After all when you have a partner who is coming from left field way way off left field she plays her part down so well. Two memorable lines of hers are from the case of the Autistic insurance worker called Probability. After the man has shown the detectives who would most likely be the culprit she turns to Det Goren and states " i didn't know you had an older brother"...and then at the end of this episode after they have figured out due to Goren's methods that the insurance man is the mastermind?..she tells Det Goren once again while laughing with him "i am sure that he would love to have a penpal"...due to the fact that these men had too much in common. Eccentric behavior implied.
