On Wednesday, it was announced that the Jennifer Lawrence Arts Fund, which is part of the Fund for the Arts and Jennifer Lawrence Foundation, has gifted more than $200,000 to a handful of local arts organizations.

Each grant was chosen because the organization supports the mission of the Fund, which is to maximize the impact of the arts on economic development, education and quality of life by generating resources, inspiring excellence and creating community connections, according to the press release.

“The Jennifer Lawrence Foundation is so proud to support the arts in her hometown of Louisville with these game-changing grants,” Meredith Lawrence, JLF executive director and Lawrence’s sister-in-law, said in the release. “We want to ensure we create transformative arts experiences through the Jennifer Lawrence Arts Fund at the Fund for the Arts in every school, community center, park and public place.”

The organizations that received the grants include Actors Theatre, Commonwealth Theatre Center, Kentucky Shakespeare, Louisville Orchestra, Louisville Youth Orchestra, and ArtsMatch for Access, a pilot program created to increase access to the arts.

“Fund for the Arts is beyond grateful to have the support of Jennifer Lawrence,” Christen Boone, Fund for the Arts president and CEO, said in the release. “We are taking great strides as an arts community, and that growth is fueled not only by 20,000 donors to the Fund but also by Oscar-winner and Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence.”

The Jennifer Lawrence Art Fund was created in the spring of 2016 and is funded by the Awards in the Arts, which was held April 30 and awarded $30,000 to six artists and organizations. The second annual awards will be held April 29, 2017.

Only time I've liked Scarlett is as Black Widow saw a movie she did with Bradley (always returning to BCooper) but anyways hated her character - maybe its cause it was a cheating storyline Maybe he's not that into you was the movie btw

I actually didn't like Scarlett as Black Widow, either. I wanted Olga Kurylenko, or their original choice, which was Emily Blunt. Scarlett just doesn't seem very Russian to me. JLaw nails Mystique, however. She's way better than Rebecca Romijn.
