Right keep forgetting that - so this whole massive thing that was released outlining up until 2020 wouldn't include X-Men?

No, because Marvel Studios has nothing to do with the X-Men movies. 20th Century Fox has their own plans for the franchise, so they determine how things will go.

I know, I wish Marvel had entered into a partnership with a major studio the way DC did with Warner Bros. But Marvel went bankrupt in the 90's and was forced to sell the film rights to their characters to anyone who would buy them. They threw all their sticks to the wind.

Yeah, Marvel made some bad business decisions in the 90's, and there was a recession in 1991, so they had to sell a lot of their titles. James Cameron was gonna do a Spider-Man movie for 20th Century Fox in 1993 and had a script written, but the deal fell through when there was a dispute over film rights, and Sony got them instead, while Fox got X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil.

Seems here and Emma Stone were hanging out the other night in NY.
