Well, it didn't really flop. It made $200 million worldwide, so it more than made back the cost of its budget. But critically it was panned and most people generally agree that it was a disappointment and not as good as Unbreakable and Split. And it didn't make quite as much as Split did.

Well, Glass did disappoint me. I agree with you about Shyamalan.

I agree. I only liked The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. The rest, not so much. Signs would've been better if it had actually made sense.

I did like the ending, Rita. I liked Signs when I first saw it, and there were a lot of legitimate scares in that movie. The story logic is what ultimately disappoints me, though, like that stuff about water, you know?

Yes, I know, sum1. I like some things about Signs, but not everything. Over time I lose interest in it.

I guess aliens don't like to wash.

yeah, I know it was stupid of the aliens to come to a planet with so much water but I've decided to ignore that so I can appreciate the movie

Apparently not these, sum1.

Yeah, I did agree when I first saw the movie, Rita. I figured that maybe the aliens vulnerability to water was a theme of Shyamalan's, because in Unbreakable, David Dunn also had a vulnerability to water, which was like his kryptonite. But how can any life form exist without some water in its body?

The Wicked Witch of the West. Or was it the East? I don't remember.

The Wicked Witch of the West. She was the one Dorothy killed with water. Yeah, I see the analogy.

The Wicked Witch of the East is the one that was crushed under Dorothy's house, and the one Dorothy got the ruby slippers from.

I believe you. Personally, I could never get through The Wizard of Oz, any version.
