Of course it does. It's surprising there aren't more, considering how many significant Marvel creators are Jewish, from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby on down through Chris Claremont and Peter David and many more.

Don't forget Joe Simon, co-creator of Captain America.

There's a reason why Simon and Kirby created Captain America in 1940 at the height of the Holocaust during WWII. They were sick of watching what was going on in Europe and wanted the USA to get into the fight.

Oh, and for the record, Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster were also Jewish, along with Batman creators Bob Kane and Bill Finger.

Well I haven’t generally wondered what religions comic book characters have since it’s usually not mentioned in the stories I read. Since Marvel has so many characters in general it would be logical to have a decent amount of Jewish characters I’d guess.

Well, I think that it is somewhat significant that many of these superheroes were created by Jewish writers during a time when Nazi Germany was around.

I think that it did have some influence on these writers creating heroes who could fight the battles on paper that they couldn't fight in real life.

Well, being Jewish is an ethnicity as well as a religion. Some people are Jewish by ethnicity and not by religion (such as Moon Knight the Marvel character who's the son of a rabbi and the servant of the Egyptian god of the moon) and some people are Jewish by religion and not by ethnicity (such as converts to Judaism).
