I think Kevin Feige needs to be step down at some point. I really do not like this guy's pretentious vision for the MCU.

Those people don't know anything about comics, dragonfire. Or the mistakes that were made early on in the MCU that prevented it from being as good as it could've been.

We agree on that, at least.

The MCU films are too plastic and self-satisfied and bland and processed and immature. They don't have depth or genuineness. The Netflix MCU shows are different, though. But I figure that when the MCU takes over the X-Men we're going to get a lot of shallow, pat X-Men films. I'm not looking forward to it. Hopefully we can keep some of the focus of the board on the Deadpool films, the old films and comics and that'll make it tolerable for me.

And yet all I complain about are main characters not even being allowed to be in their own stories. Hank and Janet in Avengers or Age of Ultron, Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy or Infinity War, etc. But yeah, pretty much everything you just said, along with Peter Parker being a petulant teenage brat all the time. You'd think that Feige would want to represent the grown up Peter Parker from the 80's who had all the best stories.

So am I. Kevin Feige should be slapped for doing that.

The MCU didn't need that crap. Peter Parker could've been introduced as the 20-something Spider-Man living in Manhattan and working at the Daily Bugle, all while taking postgraduate courses at NYU to get his doctorate. WTF is Tony Stark gonna be doing giving an internship to a high school teenager? Peter could also be involved with Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat, who has been woefully underrepresented in these Spider-Man films.

The Black Cat wasn't that important.

She was to me. She was part of those great 80's Spider-Man storylines, along with Silver Sable. The funny thing is that she suddenly became a lot more popular with fans after Peter married Mary Jane Watson.

I don't remember seeing the Silver Sable in any '80s comics. I didn't come across her until the '90s.
