Rogue was very emo in that clip. But in fairness to her, even I wouldn't know what to do with my power if I was her.

I can't imagine what her family felt like not being able to touch her when she was little.

Gambit doesn't care though. He even teasingly says (in that clip) that it's all worth it (if he ends up in the hospital when Rogue touches him).

Beginning of the first movie its talking about how the abilities of mutants get their powers during extremely stress around coming of age like as a teenager So I THINK that she didn't have her powers until that moment when she put that boy into coma

True. Maybe she had a stressful time in her teenage years and it didn't manifest until she kissed him because otherwise she wouldn't have been so traumatised.

That's my guess based on what Jean was talking about in the beginning of the movie in front of the senator's or was in Professor X before the movie began
