That's why I wanna see Ready Player One. It's supposed to be a total 80's sci-fi nostalgia trip.

With a lame young dork in the central role. No thank you. Couldn't they cast somebody who actually remembers the '80s?

Well, the character is a young man in a futuristic society about 50 years from now where kids revere the 80's because they're stuck in a society where there's nothing left to do, and the 80's seem so cool to them. Anyone who is old enough to remember the 80's is probably too young to play Tye's character. And we're talking about Cyclops, here.

That's not Cyclops. Even Marsden was a better Cyclops.

Marsden was still a compromised Cyclops. I like Tye's storyline better, even if he's still not my ideal Cyclops. I don't know why they keep casting these short guys.

Marsden wasn't that short. Height is not the biggest problem withg Tye, so much as it's callow dorkiness.

You seem very bitter.

Don't worry, Cable will get his due in the movies.

We'll see. Deadpool has become a fad and things are always cheapened when they're fads.

Thanks, LightYears! OMG, are those real? Those aren't just mock-ups?

I think sum1 feels that Deadpool is being over-commercialized.

Damn straight. And overrated. Deadpool is a fun gimmick that's all. He's not this marvellous, deep character that some people think he is.

I don't think he's that bad. I think he's an interesting change of pace, but I don't think he needs to be the new standard bearer or anything. Fox is basically making the same mistake with him that they made with Wolverine in the 2000's, making everything about him at the expense of other characters like Cable, just as X-Men did to Cyclops.

He was overrated long before Fox got hold of him. I was ok with it in the '90s because he was fun, but now that he's usurping Cable's position in the films the fun is over.

Oh, I feel the same way about Scott Lang and Hopeless Van Dumb, sum1. So believe me, I understand. Again, I don't mind his solo films, but I hope that they distance X-Force from him after this movie.
