He was in the first 2 "Godfather" films, but not the third in that franchise. Duvall was also in an episode of "The Fugitive" T.V. series in the 1960s if you want to see him in something even earlier than "The Godfather".

What he accomplished in that movie is amazing. When you look at his filmography, it's a bit insane how many things he was in. It's a series of "Oh, yeah" I'd forgotten about that..."

For instance, he was in the TV series of David Copperfield Daniel Radcliffe was in before he became Harry Potter.
