One of my main passions is nature and wildlife. The Earth is such a beautiful planet and we need to take care of her.
Name (User name is fine): Liv What got you interested in nature/wildlife: I had always been interested in wildlife, at a very early age. In my old childhood home we had a large garden and we'd always get all sorts of birds and wild rabbits coming in. Foxes too, though that was a little worrying for our pet rabbit Flopsey, who slept in the hutch in the patio at night. I didn't like giant snails though.  My passion grew bigger as I got older. My favourite books were The Animals of Farthing Wood series by Colin Dann when I was about 7 or 8. I also watched the animated TV series based on the books. It taught me a lot about the danger humans can bring to wildlife and their habitat and how we should take care of them. I also loved the book Watership Down, by Richard Adams, and the film based on it. I love all animals and have always been interested in their behaviour. I studied Animal Behaviour and Welfare at university for two years and although the course ended up being way too academic for me (I prefer the more practical side of study) I still learnt a lot. I always enjoy the good BBC wildlife programmes, particularly the ones with Sir David Attenborough presenting/narrating. I have a big collection of them on DVD. I collect the BBC wildlife magazine on a monthly subscription. And I also volunteer at my local zoo (which is by far one of the best zoos in the UK).__________________

Very pretty!
When you can find a place as an Adult that is magical you know you've found a special place I never cared for gardens as a kid.. But now...they're the perfect stress release... all the pretty flowers, being outside, the animals....yeah. Perfect way to spend a day walking and just being.__________________

Oh totally.
I lived near the village of Groombridge so we visited Groombridge Place often. We moved away when I was 10 but we came back for a visit once, years later. Some things had changed, but it still felt magical.  __________________

That is great it still felt like that for you!
I tried to go to my place at least 3 times a month...but I haven't been back in almost two years...real life go to complicated for long day trips like that...but  next year I'll get back in the habit! I'm having serious withdralw  __________________
