Ok, so I am still having a blast studying to be a pharm tech. I know I don't have to go through the program to be one, but I am enjoying it!!

I won't say CSI, because then I'd sound stupid. I chose that because of interest in chemistry, and a lack of other appealing choices.

I found out if I do a nursing degree I would get my fees all paid for - woohoo! But I can't start for at least another 3 years as I need to finish this degree then take a year off to save. So by then I'll probably be sick of studying and being poor so just give up! __________________

So, I am 8/34 books done... and I got the next 3 in mail today! I am very excited! I also went out to the bookstore and bought the review book for the voluntary certification... it was $40.95, but I am sure it will be worth it.

I'm the Unit Coordinator for a Paramedic Air Care at a local hospital. I get to go out on the helo and help people and then come back to the office and tell people what to do and do all the paperwork. Maea |

I'd love to be a doctor, it's been a dream, but I didn't achieve that marks so I am doing advertising. Medicine is a really really competitive field to get into in Australa, I guess it's because there aren't as many universities that offer it, therefore limited spaces. You sit something called a UMAT and in most universities espically the better ones the interview is the most important thing. So, even if you do the marks in the UMAT and in your exams, if you stuff up your interview it's all over for you . |

As an aspiring psychiatrist, I figure, who better to help me than a bunch of doctors?! I'm 15, and right now, what I'm pretty sure that I want to become a psychiatrist. I've been interested in general psychology since middle school, but I realize that psychiatry pays more and is more fulfilling. I really want to be able to diagnose mental illnesses, because my mom and her side of the family all have depression and paranoia, so I guess it kind of hits close to home. I really don't know what classes are the most important to take, other than the general psychology and sociology classes available in HS. Which APs are most important, and what tests should I take? I have the option of taking the World History AP exam this year (sophmore) but I don't even think I'll need it. Will I? Ack!
