Had my first boxing training yesterday. I have a cousin who is a trainer so was able to go to him.

Holy crap, the gym does it no justice.

I am dead from the abs down!

I have to admit, I love it though!

It's fun though, hard af, but fun.

Glad you're enjoying it! I've also been thinking of picking up something like that if I'd really want to do a sports course or something. Sounds like a great workout

Yesterday I did my first run in a while. At the end of April, after the first 2 weeks of my Couch-to-5k program, I started to feel pain in my knee. Guess I had some sort of injury, that lasted over 2 weeks. So I started at the beginning of Week 2 again yesterday, and daaamn, maybe I should've started all over, I still have muscle aches all over my legs But my knees feel fine

Mazz, I did and it was just one session so far but it was great. I didn't think my cousin/trainer would have me on the punching bag right away but he did.

I plan to get hand wraps today since I all ready have the gloves.

I'd always wanted to get into boxing/kickboxing so the fact that I know a guy and don't have to spend much is really awesome.

Great job on your run!

I suck at running. LOL. Never been good at it despite playing soccer and basketball in my youth. For me my strengths in those sports lied on that, my strength. I had one hell of a kick that surpassed many of my teammates to the point where they often referred to me as the 'Canon'.

Basketball I pretty much sucked at (and it got worse once I started wall punching since I couldn't bend my wrists the way you're supposed to without the pain getting intense) so because of that I often shot the basketball with a thrust up motion instead of a wrist motion. The only real reason I played was to be with my friends. I went to school in a small town and they only had basketball (no soccer damn it!) and everyone played.

that's exactly why I've haven't done it yet. I'm much safer sticking to non moving devices

Did some yoga earlier, was stretching using the blocks, my grandmother (88yrs) walks in and says blocks are for wimps, watch this.. Then she bent over placed her palms flat on the floor and said see, now help me up I her so much!
