I'm pregnant!!!!!!!
We had our first ultra sound on Friday and could hear the little embryos heart beat! It was such a surreal experience! The baby is due in July!
So I have spent most of my days sleeping! It is unbelievable how tired I am!
Nadene! Congratulations. Baby bubbles.

Did any Perthies go to the pagent on Sunday? Why is it in the morning now?
I think it's a bit odd that it's in the morning. I didn't go.. haven't been since I was a kid.

Thanks for the new thread.

I hate Telstra even more today!

I tried to get the $299 rebate today, at first I was told it would appear as a credit on my bill, today I was told I needed to go online or call a 1800 number to do it, then I was told because the site didn't couldn't use 6 digit back accounts they would have to send out a check (more stuffing around). Now I'm told there is a 60 day limit and I got the 7.2 gateway 61 days ago and I have to go back to the Telstra shop where I bought it because 13POND can't help.

This is fraken stupid! I've been on the phone all day trying to fix this and now I might be out $299.

That's Tel$tra for you Craig, I keep saying they are the evil monopoly of Oz.

TK, would you like your name in the title post? I will send you all those DVDs very soon, I just wanted to get the end of a few complete seasons for you and Craig.

I'm going to call the Telstra Shop tomorrow, why should I waste time and money driving 25km?

Which shows are ending their season Clint, aren't most going on their US winter breaks right about now?

Since you're getting them I didn't get Smallville and a few others.

I would like from and including
SV 8.06
SN 4.09
Chuck 2.04
PD 2.03
Merlin 1.06
Knight Rider 1.02

I'm up-to-date with Dexter, Prison Break and Heroes.

I am way behind with Californication S2 eps 4 - 11, Fringe S1 eps 2 - 10, Heroes S3 eps 6 - 10 and PB S4 eps 8 - 13. I am leaving those until last for they are far less important. I am up to date with: SV S8, SN S4, Legend Of The Seeker S1, Chuck S2, PD S2, Merlin S1, Eureka S3, Eli Stone S2, Dexter S3, SGA S5, Sanctuary S2, Terminator S2. I am slightly behind in Knight Rider 2008 S1, Life On Mars US S1, Apparitions S1, Time Warp S1 and Star Wars The Clone Wars S1.

I've recorded Californication, 2.10 aired Sunday, we had soem weather but it's still turned out pretty good. Fringe I'm also up to ep 1.10, no thanks to ch9 I've DL the last few, up to Heroes 3.11 and PB 4.13 so maybe I can send you those along with some Scrapheap.

BTW I'm also up-to-date with Terminator and SGA.

Oh and I recorded the Eureka Pilot last week on Sci-Fi and looks 100% better than the original from the US, now our scifi is in 16x9 the original US one was 4x3 with the black bars cropped.

and I just *coughed* "Doctor.Who.Children.in.Need.Special.2008.HQ.x264-D734.mkv" but the mkv (which I had not heard of before) wouldn't play on the Mac, too slow. I converted it to avi, It's only 2 minutes but a nice treat

.MKV is 1080p HD uncompressed video. Basically, it is what HD DVD was and then much later, what Blu-Ray copied. Much better compression with no artifacts. Use VLC to play it. You can burn an HD 1080p resolution movie onto 1 blank DVD easily using .mkv compression, Blu-Ray is not needed atm in the world, only Gimps think it is. I mentioned .mkv months ago, if not over a year ago... I have several movies as .mkv that my Brother gave me.

Could you send those episodes? That means I can concentrate much more on the others, which you also require. I also wouldn't mind seeing the first season as 16:9, Was it just the pilot as 4:3 or the entire season? I can't remember... I know all of Season 1 of Kyle XY was 4:3 when I got it, yet season 2 was 16:9...

And a faster Mac, it did play on the PC (AMD 5000) and I converted it to avi and got it playing.

The teaser I got is the same as the YT link but without the intro, Can't wait for xMas

So the eps you listed are the ones you need right? I can get them on to a couple of DVDs and maybe post them later in the week. I have a DVD to send to the UK as well, maybe we need to start a business

Nah, that'd be wrong. I have only done copies for free. Even when I made VHS copies from free analogue tv shows for friends back in the day. Or even making copies of audio tapes for brothers and friends.

Mac probably didn't have the right codecs to play the HD video and/or it hasn't been set in its video resolution settings to play such high quality video, just check its settings.

I just *coughed* the same .mkv, opened it with VLC on my dying 5 year old crappy old PC - it plays perfectly in sync.

I remember years ago a neighbor setting up a home VHS rental, he made copies of movies and rented them from home.

So the postage to the UK is $4.10 au, so with the DVD cost and package 5£ uk is a fair price to cover things?

I dunno, the furthest I sent tapes were once to Sweden and once to New Zealand. Those were about a dozen tapes each package all costs incurred by me too!! These were the old original Roswell episodes.

You do realize how much 12 VHS tapes weigh, right!? Quite a frakking bit!
