Nothing against the athletes but how much are people going to watch the games?

Will HD have different content and how much with SBS show?

As for the Olympics. Might watch the opening ceremony. Won't watch it on my phone. Don't have a mobile

Didn't watch the last commonwealth games. I like the gymnastics. Might watch some of that if I can be bothered.

It is so beautifully, gorgeously sunny here. Danie I need you up here to play with the Step's dogs as they arrived this morning and are craving activity and company.

Hey TK and Mezzi. How did you both like DW and BSG? BSG has the last half of season 4 left to air later this year, alongside its prequel spin-off series, Caprica.

The Dr Who two-part finale we got was pretty mind-blowing!

Brought back all the companions, Captain Jack etc. (I don't know if you're on the same season as the US tho.) Kind of sweet on Captain Jack at the moment (we're watching Torchwood Season 1 DVDs, then moving on to renting season 2). I'm going to read his autobiography

- will let you know if he's as in love with himself as everybody else seems to be.

I like the opening Ceremonies of the Olympics too - will be all cool and Asian-themed I expect with fireworks and dragons and such. I remember the French one was very Circ du Sole-ish and avante garde. I like to see all the flags and costumes and people marching around with their proud faces (I like the 'national costume' part of Miss Universe competition too - giggle).

Might peek in at some gymnastics but probably will miss the whole thing! I'm a pretty huge sports avoider.

YAY!!! Olympics starts tonight and I'll miss it...

Have to be up at 3.30am for another fair in Bendigo...

I'll be watching the Games here and at work as they just installed a TV next to my counter. I'm so going to get work done for the next two weeks!

Mezz did you get any of that storm yesterday? It wasn't too bad here in the southern suburbs of the Gong but North Gong looked liked it snowed

I liked the DW epps with the shadows eating people..that was cool.

And i so want to see the rest of s4 BSG and find out who the 5th cylon is and whats going to happen now that they're on Earth, whats left of it....

There will be a prequel BSG movie to be released right after the S4 finale.
