Looks like it's gonna be starting in Feb sometime, so I figured I'd start a thread for it because I know of a couple of other people who'll be watching.

Here's hoping it's as awesome as the US version.

Looks like SYTYCD starts Feb 3. 7.30-9.

I wonder how many weeks it'll go for an hour and half... because Grey's Anatomy will probably be back on Sundays.

After seeing the breakers/b-boys&girls on the last season from the US, I've got a whole new appreciation for that style of dance. Never thought much of it before, but some of the stuff they can do is pretty amazing IMO.

Yep, and there'll be 3 eps in the one week:

So You Think You Can Dance Australia will attempt to make big inroads before ratings begin by having three editions in the week of February 3. It will screen on Sun 3, Monday 4 and again on Wednesday 6 Feb.

It's part of a move by TEN to hook viewers before other networks launch big shows the following week. Seven has previously found success with the same strategy leading out of the Australian Open.

I'm very excited about Dance but I hate the initial auditions..I love watching from the top 20.

Anyone going to a taping, I saw an ad for it but never looked at the website for it.
