That's my rule for biographies. Either the subject is dead or they're the ones writing it. Otherwise, it feels too much like gossip, which I hate.

And, I must say, they have to have been dead for a while.
 Like, I wouldn't be comfortable reading a Lady Diana biography now, even though she's been dead for 20 years... or maybe it's because gossip was so closely related to her death? Not sure. But, yeah, I'm not the type to buy a biography about someone who's died recently.__________________

I think I have found some new books!
Wonder by R. J Palacio - It's also a movie now Nevermoor The Trials of Morrigan Crow - Jessica Townsend Snow and Rose - Emily Winfield Martin Tortall - A Spy's Guide - Tamora Pierce And one for fun it's a parody cookbook Stranger Fillingers When I get more time I'm going to research about them and see if I want them. They just caught my attention based by the book jacket. __________________

This is hysterical, well maybe because I have a twisted sense of humor but my friend gave this to me today

I don't know if you all have this store, but we have one called Half Price Stores here. It's where books are half off or sometimes they're a little bit less expensive.

So I got this ARC in one of my subscription boxes today! I knew it would be a ARC in it, but I have no idea that I would be so excited to really hold one in my hand.
 It is my first ever ARC so I guess that is why!  I love that the subscribes will have this book 6 month before everyone else.  And that is stands "Cover to be revealed". :rotlfl: And the book sounds really good too.  __________________
