I really dislike the casting so it's really put me off. You never know though, i may start to like Robert when we get trailers etc.

I've always pictured Gaspard/Emily but that's not why i dislike the casting, i just really don't see Robert as ever being Edward - unless they make some dramatic changes. I'm guessing he's a really good actor though? Maybe he will win me over with that. I saw him in Harry Potter but didn't pay attention to him, i would of if i knew he would be Edward Cullen

That's like me he went to a convention - Collectormania - that I go to twice a year and I just didn't go see him even though I was there. If I had known he would've been Edward and that I would've gotten all obsessed with Twilight, I would have.

I get what everyones saying.. when i first saw it was Robert who was playing Edward i was like 'no, he's not Edward in a way- he'll only ever be 'that guy from Harry potter', but i soon realized he would be great, he got the part for a reason after all, I just hope he does the part justice

I think it's worse because i've been picturing Gapard as Edward for the past like 8 months so i can't just go 'Oh well, Robert is great as Edward'.
