I was thinking repeatedly, "WTF? This isn't how it was" and I knew I was right b/c people I knew who read the books agreed that it didn't reflect Bella's state of mind in the book. In those parts, she kept saying to herself, "should I let it happen? Edward's never coming back... I wish Jacob were my brother..." and yet the movie doesn't allow for these voiceovers at all.

I know No wonder why a lot of EBers became JBers Personally, I would never change a ship because of the movie. The books are the original version of the story.

I HATE it when people 'jump ship' devoted shippers just don't do that. (Then again some of them admitted they did the same w/the books then prioritized EB again in Bk 3.)

Plus, for me, it was like JB was being shoved in our faces, to the point where I didn't care anyway And Rob is the only leading man in the movies who I care to watch.

It seems like people are going back to disliking Jake now, at least the people I know do. I agree with everything you say, but I have to leave now! And RK are the only ones I care for in the movies although I like a lot of the actors and actresses

I'm HIGHLY positive that the marketing team have pretty much never paid attention to the actual book stories, and are just basing their promotion on a guy's body. That's not even bashing (on him), it's just a general observation.

Well, luckily, Twilight was devoid of all high-drama, except for the James plot-line. There was no stupid triangle to overcome and it was just EB.

It was her editor, apparently. She put the idea into her head of expanding his character in the mid-books, even though Stephanie had technically written Breaking Dawn before EITHER of them.
