You couldn't help but root for them.

And the mayhem that was made for that party was pretty extensive. Quite the mess. I love the movie. Such a great memory of the 80's.

Given she was sixteen. Yeah, he was. I understand he was Army. And they had just moved to a new city, and maybe leaving a base or whereever they were living. But she should have at least a little bit of independence.
