Okay i just watched my dvd yesterday and i really listen to it all this time instead of tuning out and just drooling over Colin.

Before i didn't follow the storyline, well i did but i just wasn't paying attention cuz i us to see the movie in small pieces on cable. And it really is a great storyline, and Colin's performance was outstanding. Really really emotional and just WHOA!

I still believe it lack something and after listen to the commentary with the directorm writer and Bruce i've got a beta hold on what i was thinking.

Bruce was the reason for the damn hyper when the focal was little innocent Tommy Hart, i believe Bruce didn't give as best performance as Colin and Marcel ( the head nazi guy). Ther movie was hypered around Bruce and he didn't give a best performance i thought he could of done the movie kinda bomed becuz of it. And even during to commentary he stay basically silent occasionally speaks. He said he always wanted to do a war type film but it just didn't seem he put the best into it.

The director and writer LOVED Colin's ability to perform so well and even commentary on his 'Soul eyes' were just mind blowing when he was saluting in the end.

I totally love the story line and Colin's performance, but i think what lacked was the writer and director over doing everything. They kept commenting on how many times things won't work and how many times the writer re-wrote soooo many parts.

i don't know where i'm going with this now, but i totally understand the movie alot better now then before since i would just zone in on Colin.

Yeah I think Colin outshone everyone in the film, even Bruce who was slated to be the main lead and star of the film but well Colin proved to be the real star in the end.

And well like I said, I have to go watch the film again cus it's been a while since I last watched it and my memory of it isn't that fresh anymore. But i knew Colin definitely stole the limelight from Bruce especially well cus I thought aside from his great per formance, didn't he sort of have more scenes than Bruce too ironically.

NO, thats the thing. Colin was the lead role, but media and whoever just put Bruce as the lead just cuz his well known and whatever.

Bruce was a supporting character as Colin was the lead character. So thats why people felt let down ( in some stupid way) but they expected to see Bruce and not Colin. Even tho Colin was Fan-*****ing-tastic! Damn the media.

I just remember in the commentary, Bruce said rang up Colin not knowing he was irish and when Colin picked up they chatted for a while then Bruce asked to speak to Colin not realising it was him.

Yeah, Alicia just watch it again. It's one of those moives that grows on you. I didn't think much of it, til i watch it properly and it's pretty good.

I didn't realise at first why McNarmara out him in the enlisted men, but i listen to it and i get it now. I'm so slow when it comes to some movies.

Watch the movie then watch it again with commentary. it makes more sense when the director and writer give ya little info on the movie. They basically replicated as much as they could as to what happened in WW2.

Go to Dicksmith at the mall. Thats where i got it, or try dicksmith near ur area if u got one. It on special at the moment.
