Hello there! I'm a relative newbie to Doctor Who and have been binging the series and have finally transitioned to Capaldi's doctor and am on the 7th episode of season 8. I'm beginning to become comfortable with his interactions and dynamic with Clara but it did take some getting used to. I like him now. Gotta love his snark!

Welcome Jen!! So glad that you joined us Yes twelve and Clara were amazing together but they really hit their stride in season 9. Season 8 was good but it was awkward with these two for the majority of it.


If you are loving 12 and Clara in season 8 just wait for season 9! It's their best season

Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad to know they hit their stride later on because it does still seem a bit awkward between them. I didn't want to say too much, afraid that I'd step on someone's toes. I'm looking forward to season 9!

Oh no, most of us did think S8 was awkward for 12 and Clara but once you get to the future eps, they will hit their stride. S9, imo, is the best for these two. THE BEST.
