We got back from ReGen4 last night. OMG - it was AWESOME!!! Peter and Michelle were so amazing. There was a little boy and his mom behind myself and my son. Peter took tons of pics with this kid and held him up high in his arms. The kid was elated and the Mom came away with tons of excellent photos. I wore my newest T-shirt I ordered that says "Thank God and Scotland for Peter Capaldi" and he read it and smiled, said, "I really like your shirt." He and my son took a great photo at the photo op, and then my son did a Peter/Michelle combo photo op. My son wore a T-shirt that says 100% Rebel Time Lord, which Peter liked as well. We had such a great time!!!

There was this guy (I swear he MUST be an engineer) who cosplayed as Twelve RIDING the Dalek like in Early S9. The guy's older son had his own operating Dalek costume which they built from scratch. Peter was on his way to sign autographs and stopped in his tracks to openly admire the guys' costumes. And this was 3 feet away from me.



We have great photos, wonderful memories, and Peter/Michelle autographs. The location of the con was great, and there was a ton to do around the event as well. What an experience.

They were extraordinary costumes.

This convention was AMAZING ... best convention I've been to in a long time. It was so fan-friendly, where the fans and the stars got to intermingle and socialize. You could tell Peter was having a blast.

Check him out here with this cosplayer -- he was impressed with her Vastra costume. The makeup was awesome.



This kid and his mom were right behind my son and me for the Peter/Michelle photo ops. The kid (whose name I won't reveal here for obvious reasons) and mom did their photo op with Peter/Michelle, and then Peter scooped the kid up and gave him a big hug ... and went right on taking pics with him.

He took a sip of water, but it went down the wrong pipe. He starts coughing and self-depricatingly says, "Nearly regenerated there. That would be a surprise, wouldn't it? You'd really get your money's worth then." He takes a sip of water, coughs, and says, "Now, I'm Jodie." He's such an awesome person.

He even said it was the BEST con he's attended ... they really knew how to treat him. He likes to interact with people ... he was smiling the whole time, enjoying himself. It was obvious. I think some of the larger cons just kind of leave the stars exhausted and don't really allow them to interact with people all that much (they discourage it cause they overbook them with stuff). This con pretty much allowed him to stop and talk to people, hang out with them, and just be himself. At the larger cons, the mom and kid behind us wouldn't have gotten to keep all those extra pics ... nor would they be allowed to have even taken them in the first place. They'd be moved along. Yet at this convention, the photographer smiled and just kept clicking away as Peter kept posing with the kid in his arms.

I think Peter felt he was really in his element -- amongst fellow DW fans. He was comfortable with people being around him, talking to him. Just amazing ... I came away with a bigger crush .
