Nah no reason to with Rose at his side...which is what the Doctor wanted to happen for the clone...plus it could be an alternative for those fans who feel let down by the recent set of series...

I enjoyed them too. If I had my way, they would have done many more stories together, 9 and Rose.

Oh I know, a second season with him would have been epic. With Billie at his side, they couldhave enhanced what they tried to accomplish in Series 1.
