He makes a great Doctor. I was leery at first because I loved CE but David grew on me to the point he was my favorite, or at least tied as my favorite. He brought such exhuberance to the role.

That's about how I felt - I think some of David's earlier episodes were a little shakey, either because of the episodes themselves or maybe because he was a bit over-excited. But eventually things settled down and now when I go back and watch the first season I find I haven't actually missed CE at all. And I think David's enthusiasm does make a big difference to the success of the show - I've seen actors on shows where their heart had gone out of it and they were just phoning it in, and it ruins the show.

There was a trailer released for the Extras Christmas special this week, which David will be appearing in. There are only a few brief shots of him, but it looks to me like his appearance will definitely be Doctor Who related - he's wearing the jacket.

I'm not sure how reliable it is, but apparently that same rumour was in a lot of different papers/tabloids today. I'm not believing it just yet, but that's sad if it is true I hate how they worded it though, I think we've all seen enough of David to know that he probably wouldn't just 'dump someone over the phone'

Well, I wouldn't bet my life on People, but if it's been reported all over it's probably true. They made a beautiful couple, and it was a bit crap of DT to dump her over the phone.

Silver lining: David is single again! Our chances of getting together with him have now increased by 0.000000000001 percent! Woo!

if it is true, breaking things off over the phone was probably better than flying to L.A. only to say hi, sorry, it's over, bye now but yeah... Still not very nice. Long distance relationships are really hard though, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it is true. Just hope he's ok!
