Lost in Translation

The thing about shipping is that I find it difficult to ship with 90% of the rest of the fandom, I mean I'll enjoy the ship but discussing it? So I go and find smaller ships, sometimes I won't ship the couple and sometimes I fall so in love with the couple that I forget about the big one. Case in point, I found it easier to talk to Chris/Lor (Gilmore Girls) shippers even though I was a big Luke/Lorelai fan (even now I talk daily with a huge C/L shipper). Another example comes from DW: right now I'm so in love with a certain ship that I've kinda lost interest in a ship with a very much larger fanbase.
