Fair enough, for me Torchwood just feels it has to prove it's 'adultness' in every episode and talks down to it's audience, but each to their own.

I like that SJA actually seems to have a decent budget, CBBC shows when I was a kid were cheap and awful.

SJA is the first CBBC show I'm watching, so I wouldn't know about any budget issues.

What's starting to bug me slightly is Mr Smith and the dramatic music whenever it comes up. *sigh* Guess that's the kiddy part, to get their attention.

Oh me too I burst out laughing every time it happens now - but I have a feeling it was all intentional, for the benefit of the last episode, when Maria desperately called out "Mr. Smith, I need you!" and he didn't appear, the fact that they always made a big deal out of it before only made it spookier when nothing happened, it almost gave me chills

My theory about Mr Smith is he's up to no good, because his voice sounds sinister to me, but that's just my cracked out mind.

that would be pretty interesting though, if he turned out to be a villain! Or maybe some evil aliens could overwrite his programming without SJ and the kids noticing... They'd blindly trust everything he told them, it would make for quite a good plot!

The way you put it that could be good.

I can't believe how excited I am for a new episode of a KIDS show.
Because last week was pretty damn good, I want to see the conclusion.

I know, I can't quite believe it myself either! Can it be tomorrow now?

and after tomorrow's episode we only have one two-parter left why do all shows have to end?

Damn, I hope it get's a series 2, because it's so much better than anything else CBBC has, and it's getting pretty good ratings too.

I really hope so too! I'd say there's a pretty big chance, though

Part 2 is VERY good too, there's a sad bit, that was quite emotional, and the ending was good and there was a reference to the Doctor!

I love Maria's dad, he's great!

glad to hear that! Can't wait to watch it later tonight, hopefully

ETA: just watched it. I agree, very good episode. Quite emotional at times, and the reference to the Doctor was so good!!

I really loved the last 2 minutes, with everyone happy again and then they realize Maria's dad is in the room

but wow next week! LUKE, NOOOOOO!! it'll be the first part of the finale, so that's bound to be good!

I'm suprised they haven't done a longer run of it actually, but knowing CBBC they'll repeat it to death! Better than watching American cartoons all the time certainly! I'm really annoyed with my self because I missed it yesterday so I'll have to keep an eye out on the CBBC channel for a repeat, from what you've all said I missed a good one! Grr at people who don't let you change the channel!

That was hilarious, I feel bad for Maria's dad, he's was great in that episode.

I know, next week looks brilliant too, I'm worried about Luke.

Yeah, I was hoping he'd take it the right way now that he knows... But from the looks of next week's trailer he won't

I know! I'm really worried about him too. How can Sarah Jane compete with his real parents? They must find a way for him to stay with her!

I hope so, because I'd really miss his character if we have an S2 and he's not in it.
