I'm liking this show a lot more than I thought I would! I thought it would maybe be a bit too childish, and while it is obvious that it's directed even more towards kids than Doctor Who is, it's definitely very enjoyable for adults too. Next week even looks really scary to me

I wonder if they will be airing both part 1 and part 2 of the SJA episodes each viewing, or will they just air part 1 on one night then air part 2 a week later?

Andie, could you copy/paste one of the piccies or more on your opening post from the Spin-off thread? Pretty-please?

Part one was played on BBC One, but Part 2 was played after on CBBC which is a digital channel, so next week Part Two will be on BBC and Part 1 of the next story will be on CBBC.

The BBC are always doing this, you know there just trying to pimp their digital channels, they've done it with Life on Mars and Heroes too.

Hearing that, I'm kind of glad I don't have to worry about that since I'm not able to watch it on tv anyway

I really like this show! More than Torchwood, actually. The kids are likeable enough and the Slitheen seemed a lot more menacing than they did on Who. Next week looks good!

It does feel a lot more like Doctor Who than Torchwood does because both shows are not adult-orientated. I like it because I am a big kid.

Thanks for the edit Andie! I just thought it'd be more prettier with some sort of banner, even if you make one of your own.

I feel the same way I'm ridiculously excited for tomorrow's episode!

Hang on, does that mean we'll only get one new 30 minute long episode tomorrow? better than nothing of course... But you know

Yeah, that means we will be left with a cliffhanger of a 2-parter episode...that should be illegal.

CLIFFHANGERS ARE EVIL!

yes, I just watched 'Eye of the Gorgon, part 1'. I very much enjoyed it, besides the part where it just stopped halfway through, of course

Some funny dialogue in this episode and great references to Classic Who. I spent the entire day today watching old episodes with Sarah Jane in them, so it was quite funny to hear things referenced I had just watched hours earlier

so apparently I need to watch classic Who to really understand what's being said in TSJA. Still though I really enjoyed it, surprising as it is more family-friendly. I can't wait to see how they do Eye of the Gorgon Part 2.

I don't think you do, heh! It's just a nod for the classic who geeks.

I have seen EOTG Part 1 yet, I plan to later today.

I think the Classic Who reference in EotG part 1 was mainly there to prepare us for series 4 (link contains BBC confirmed villain news for DW s4, stay away if you don't want to know!)

I'm really enjoying this series, I like Clyde and Luke friendship a lot, the way Clyde is always teaching Luke things that's cute, and the SJS and Luke interaction is adorable.

I think Luke is my favourite of the kids, I am so him with the social awkwardness, it's scary.
