Silence in the Library Forest of the Dead Hi all! I rewatch n watch. I still don't understand who or what is the little girl. Why is the library inside the girl's mind / brain? And why did the girl feel pain when the Doctor scan the library security? Is the girl the library security in some kind of way? |

The little girl was once a real little girl, but when she was about to die, her family had her consciousness downloaded into the Library computer. She became the computer that runs the library, which is why things that happened to the library/computer affected her, and things that she did affected the library.
At the beginning of the two-parter, the girl (CAL) didn't remember she was the library computer, because her memory was full of all the people in the library that she'd saved. __________________
