Donna, what did you feel during that diner scene with Clara's exit and the last scene of Peter & Jenna?

That scene was amazing ... and so poignant. He's struggling to remember somebody that means so much to him, but there's no memory of Clara at all ... he only knows her name, and the melody that comes to him and prompts him to play, and he names the song "Clara." He even remembers that melody episodes later when he's playing it at a club in S10's "The Pilot". Only by now the song is called "I forget."

I remember being pleasantly surprised during that other scene in "Class" when he's explaining to the group "Time has seen your faces ... and time ... time never forgets." It's in that moment that he sees the name "C.Oswald" on the wall, and he just walks toward it, like he's suddenly remembering .... .

The Whouffaldi feels are so strong ....

I really loved the melody that he played. I didn't notice he had renamed it though from Clara to I forget

yeah it's really sad So glad he at least got the chance to remember her before he regenerated.

It's in a deleted scene, where we see Twelve playing his guitar while Bill meets Heather. Twelve is playing "Clara's Theme" and when Bill later asks him the name of the song he was playing, Twelve says, "I Forget." He didn't remember Clara's name anymore .

Interestingly enough, he could only remember Clara's name (even when it was the name of the song) when he was standing in front of her at the diner, even though he didn't know who she was. When somebody else asked him about her, he says, "Clara who?"

When he sees her name on the wall in "Class" it seems to trigger some recognition in him, because he stares intently at the name and even walks toward it...as though it's Clara herself .



Loved the way he stared at her in the finale. Definitely a look of love there between them!

Thanks for the videos of the scenes. I have not The Class. I had no idea Peter was in it.

That was such a great scene! He definitely recognized her name on at least a sub conscience level

Yeah I wasn't expecting them to do any 'continuation' so to speak for Class when Peter was announced to appear so it was definitely a nice surprise that we got that scene.
