Yeah 12 wasn't as emotional as the previous Doctors. It was like he was emotionally unattached sometimes.

It was clearly present (that attitude) during his early days as the Doctor opposite Clara.

At least the Doctor's time with Clara, especially S9, was good. That was my favorite season for them.
