Plot twist: River comes back for one last adventure with the Doctor before she goes to the library and saves the 10th Doctor. If only......

Wishful thinking i think down the track she could come back but in a different body

It would be CRAZY To completely get rid of River. I mean look at what kind of reaction she draws from fans! lol! Plus er and Peter are Brilliant! I can;t say that enough! LOL! I firmly believe she'll be back again.

They totally were! And, if you go back and watch tHoRS, when River and Twelve are on their own, he talks to her differently. The tone of his voice is softer, the looks he gives her. He's different when he's with River.

I did notice that.

River just makes the episodes she's in ten times better! She's not a companion, and she's not someone who needs to be saved. She finds way to escape, ways to cause trouble, and ways to have so much fun while traipsing her way through the universe waiting to cross paths with her beloved Husband again.



I watched it four times yesterday! LOL! (I can't get enough of it! LOL!)

And when they're on the balcony, and the Doctor is talking about the towers, and when someone needs it the most, there is a song. You can see the exact moment his hearts are breaking with the knowledge that after they leave Darillium, he'll never see her again. It's a split second before the Doctor says, "There is a song."

Yeah. A great scene, which is sad, but as I believe they're going to spend twenty-four years together, at least there last night together is going to be amazing.
