I'm guessing soon, at least before the end of the year.

I don't think WB and Netflix would have announced a deal if they weren't absolutely sure they had the lead actors committed. I'm guessing the final negotiations are about salary and schedule. I imagine them shooting it next year, and releasing it Fall or Winter 2015.

X-files did 6 episodes this summer and they'll be out in January. Gg can't take that much longer.

Don't know if it was posted before but one of the rumors says the 4 parts will be set in different seasons, so summer, fall, winter and spring. No word if that means 1 new show every 3 months or they will air over 4 weeks or maybe be released all at once.

The only shame about this reboot, is that I am pretty sure Melissa won't do it. I don't know if she is TOO Hollywood now? And, I cannot imagine a Lorelai, without a Sookie. Hopefully though, she follow in George Clooney's footsteps, because he came back for one episode of ER.
