My take on this whole debacle-First off, give it a week & this will all blow over. Second, I don't blame the producers/writers for being ticked off that they diverted from the written word but there's absolutely no need to "hate" them. Comedians take chances, sometimes for better sometimes for worse. They're just mad cuz they'll be the ones receiving the calls/letters/emails blasting them for the offense. I'm sure Matt & Lauren will receive some guff too, but most of it will be channeled at NBC. I do wonder what the original material was & question if this might've even been better? Thirdly, on a Lauren note, she's too beloved to have any residual anger focused on her after this week. Once Parenthood starts up again, the network/audience members will be so caught up in her brilliant work portraying Sarah this incident will be nary a thought. And those are my 2 cents. ...or erm...3.

Wow, I can not catch up with all of you. I am only on post #55 here, but I wanted to jump in here and say thank you to everyone who has put something for us to watch and to read even though it is taking me so long to do it all. Ditto for some of the other threads. I wish I could stay on for longer periods of time so that I can catch up. I will sooner or later. Loved the pic of Lauren and George. Heck, I am loving it all. Thank you again.
