I totally posted this on the wrong thread last week... sorry!
 Anyway... this is my two cents about Hollywood week so far. Everyone seems to be getting the flu or in some need of medical attention . Did NOT like Alisha, that cop lady.... nor did I like that bossy cowboy . I really am liking the Justin Bieber look alike kid. He has a great voice. (I am horrible with names during this stage of AI) And the Asian kid that had a problem with the bossy cowboy, I like him too - great voice. Oh and that was a cute moment that you capped Autumn.... when that happened I was like..."do they know each other?"  __________________

Things to note:
-Eben getting cut=FAIL -Jairon getting cut=FAIL -Skylar, Coltons sister, getting cut=FAIL -Colton making it -The bossy cowboy's duet with the other guy with a deep voice was AMAZING! I can't even hate on that performance -Brielle's voice is AWESOME -Heejun -Phillip Phllips -Creighton is starting to grow on me, we'll see... -The vocal coach from hell=COMEDY __________________

I think Eben is still around though for now
 So glad Phillip, Heejun, Jen and Colton are safe so far! Kinda disappointed about Johnny though, I really thought he might make it to Top 24.Okay, some thoughts on the Hollywood group round. First of all, the jamming session with Steven and Randy was awesome! Some groups were a mess, some of the vocals were all over the place, there were pitch problems, people forgetting the lyrics ... Typical Hollywood performances basically But a couple of groups did amazingly well. One example being Jen and Reed's. Their vocals were great and their harmonies were so good. Another was Eben and David's.Hollywood Solo performances: Joshua, wow what a strong voice and great vocal control; loved Colton at the piano, love that there's something different in his voice; Phillip, great as usual and love his little movements and voice changes that he does; Creighton kinda reminds me of Paul Mcdonald from last year XD Vegas Group Performances: Colton and Skylar'r group did great; David's group's performance was really enjoyable and so was Phillip and Heejun's, love Heejun's voice; Jen's group killed it again, awesome. Looking forward to the final solo round before Top 24! |

Reed was interesting for sure
I love how he ran around frantically the last half hour and still managed to give a really good performance. It would have been interesting to see his a Capella performance. |
