If the show ends in S3, I won't mind her being written out. But if the show lives on somewhere else, I'd be disappointed if she never showed up again.

Maybe if there's a 4th season she will return, but if her arc is wrapped up this season then not... A lot of stuff is happening in episode 7, so maybe not, but seeing how Bryan knew cancellation was possible maybe they do wrap up the Vergers' storyline in episode 7.
We'll see, all we know is Alana isn't going anywhere, not the other main characters either. The others will be killed or/and written out

since it's two arcs this season, with some other book mixing.

I feel like "new" Alana is a little more like Margot, which makes them more compatible.

I suppose they could always have Margot pop up in the background or whatever from time-to-time. Like Bella, kinda.

I like what Caroline said about them, how they've both been hurt, and they see that in each other, so they trust each other because of their similar experiences.
