As someone said on Tumblr, other fandoms need to photoshop flower crowns on the characters or cast...we don´t need that

Kate: Haha, I saw that the dog's actually a girl... Proof that girls do it better than boys! ;P lol jk Although I HAVE heard somewhere that female dogs are easier to train than male... I wouldn't know, because I've only had girl dogs.

If she were to suddenly appear with a flower crown, that'd give everything away... And if she did appear with one now, I'd be more convinced than ever that she's not coming back, because I don't think they'd give such a blatant clue.

Actually Martha De Laurentiis said Winston is a male but wear as real name a name girl (Heidi)

I don't blame you Kendra, Raul is nothing like Chilton in real life so he seems to be different even physically (almost an other actor).

About the art, i liked that she's associated with flowers and guns! Feminity/charm and action woman/fearless are 2 symbols of a very strong and inspirational heroine.

And I love that, too. ^^ I think Bev is associated with flowers thanks to the flower crowns (though Idky she's the only character who got to "keep" the flowers), and I agree. It's an awesome combination of hard and soft imagery...very feminine, yet it shows she packs a punch!

The fiber analyst once saved protagonist Will Graham’s life (Hugh Dancy) by shooting a kidnapper who manipulated children into murdering their own families.

Hettienne Park, the Korean American actress who plays Beverly Katz, is also enamored with the sassy scientist’s multifaceted character. “She’s thriving in a world that’s typically male-dominated. She doesn’t really have to alter who she is or play any games in order to excel in her field,” Park said. “I admire her.”

As of yet, most of Beverly’s interactions have involved her colleagues and the ever increasingly troubled criminal profiler Will Graham, with whom she forged a unique friendship in the last season. As Will begins to lose his grip on reality, it is Beverly he turns to for help. “It’s easy to see [with the other characters] that maybe they have some kind of ulterior motive. Beverly just genuinely likes him and is drawn to him, and likes to protect him, and she respects him in a way he may not be used to,” Park said of their relationship.

But with all fingers and evidence pointing to Will as the Minnesota Shrike, his arrest for the murders committed by Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) might punch a hole in this newfound friendship. There’s always the possibility that the crime scene investigator will encounter the dapper yet deadly Hannibal Lecter, and Park would be thrilled to see that happen. “Any kind of tango between Beverly and Dr. Lecter would be dangerous, but I think Beverly would love to learn more about him. He’s a mysterious guy who works on the periphery of the work that we do. I just hope that I don’t end up on his dining table,” she added with a laugh.

Despite starring in a show about a cannibalistic serial killer, Park is not a fan of gore. Her greatest challenge during filming was stomaching the disturbingly realistic prosthetics on set. For Park, the most repulsive of the crime scenes was one she’d nearly put out of her memory. Earlier in the season, the team took on a serial killer who buried his victims alive and grew mushrooms from their bodies. “I’m trying to brush the soil off the faces and there are little shrooms coming out of their noses, and their eyes are covered,” she recalled, and then added, “It’s so gross, but that night, all I wanted to eat was a mushroom pizza.”

It looks like Park is starting to fall under the influence of Bryan Fuller’s macabre writing. Despite her discomfort, onscreen Park transforms into a fearless woman who can whip out gallows humor while getting up close and personal with a chunk of dead flesh.

The 30-year-old actress, who was the recipient of the 2012 Theatre World Award for her roles in both The Intelligent Homosexual’s Guide to Capitalism & Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures and Seminar, has long been outspoken about the importance of representation for women of color in the media. One of the most significant things about her casting as Beverly Katz is that the role didn’t specifically call for an Asian female. “I grew up not really seeing anything that I could really relate to, whether it was on television or in the movies or pop culture in general. It was really frustrating and confusing,” Park said. The actress made the conscious decision not to play into stereotypes of how Asians have been portrayed in the past, when she began to pursue acting as a career.

“We’re part of the fabric of the country,” she said. “We’ve got lots of strong, independent, smart, funny, interesting Asian females, and it’s time that the stuff we’re watching reflects that,” she said.

Hannibal wrapped up its first season in June, and will be returning in 2014 for its second season.

And I find it funny that Hettienne and I were grossed out by the same crime scene, because the shroom bodies were the only thing that I found disturbing, tbh. I was able to handle everything else just fine! And when I was taking a walk with my dad like a day or two after that episode aired, we walked by a log covered in those type of mushrooms, and I was all

and told my dad about the episode. He just looked at me like I was crazy.

I also like that she wants to break Asian stereotypes -- I definitely think she has in her role, and everyone seems to love her!

I don't get if Hettienne is just brave, crazy or both: wanting to eat a pizza with mushrooms after filming this episode!

However she has great sense of humor and great values!
