Love the image of the proposal. They were truly happy. that is how it should end with Max and Liz after all their pain and suffering, and to think it was only in three years. The road was rocky, but worth it.
I do think Liz was at peace. I don't think you ever get complete closure. You have to make peace with what you can. All the wounds weren't completely scarred over yet, but no one's scars are completely closed even in real life. Liz could only handle what she could. She knew she wanted Max, and that epic proposal allowed her to have the one person she wanted, and be together which is something she had been denied for long... Given that the barely even dated. They were together in Season 3, without being together at the same time. Season 1, they went from Heat Wave to Blind Date to Sexual Healing in a blink of a eye. And even after Sexual Healing, they really only had a brief time together. So to think they got their happy ending when they actually barely was in a relationship... pretty much is a miracle. They both grew so much! __________________

Sexual Healing was the best... It probably is either my favorite episode, or very close to it of the whole series... Just for the fact there is very little angst in it. They get busted, and so much could have been prevented. But it was just about their love for each other. And passion is out of this world in the episode... pure bliss!
Thanks, might do that sometime about my collection. I was able to collect from many creators here on the site, over the years...sixteen years. So numerous to really remember who, but they were all very talented. And I give major thanks because Max and Liz were one in a million! __________________

The passion was so incredible between the two. Very intense. Which made the heartache and pain all the more painful to witness because they truly did love each other. And they were being kept from each other, partly by others but also being teenagers, and their own fears and decisions...
But Sexual Healing was pure bliss! __________________

I love how in Sexual Healing every if they didn't physically do anything their souls were on firer and you could tell how connected they were spiritually!
There were no walls just pure love!  Still the hottest love scene I have ever seen on TV! __________________
