Yes I agree with you over certian storylines and how characters were treated but in the end I am glad we got a wedding and a happy ending!

Yes that is basically what she says. Minutes after marrying Max, she gets in the van and says those words. Similiar the some of the first words she said in the PILOT except then it was about the shooting...

This time she is saying her name, and that she's actually happy. A echo of the beginning in the end.

I really wish the finale could have been two hours so we could have seen the reaction to Jeff Parker reading the diary. I know the actress who played Amy Deluca was employed on another show that season and that is why we didn't see her. But I would have loved to seen Amy's reaction.

And then they would have time to show that Max and Liz did sleep together after engaged.

I am amazed a tad that they were able to give as much closure as they did in the finale given they had so much to wrap up those last episodes once Vermont was done...

Most of all I wanted to see the fallout of the interrupted Graduation ceremony. Michael made quite the scene. Jim said there was one. I want to know how they explained it if the government was exposed or did they slink away. Heck the parents could have made it a PR nightmare issue that the government was was prepared to take out four unarmed teenagers (of course they had powers, but were unarmed) at a high school graduation and of course Liz was human.

Originally it was written to be 2 hours but then the net work didn't film the two hours.

Shiri confirmed to my co Mod at the time Jennifer aka Dreamer4ever and I when we met her that the "cementing scene" on the balcony was never shot. She told us if it was we would have seen it.

Roswell fans were like the swat team with finding deleted scenes. We found some from Sexual Healing in the season one gag reel and we found B roll as well.

Yeah I think I read that it was probably in a early script, and when they realized what they had to play with in terms of time, they knew they had too much to close off in a hour... It just always been so annoying but I taken solace in the knowledge that they probably did sleep together, we just didn't see it after getting engaged. You just knew from the way they lean into kiss...

Yeah if they had actually shot it. Someone would have gotten hold of scenes and put it on Youtube.

Given UPN cut the episode count that season. What did it hurt to give a extra episode so the show could do a two hour finale. But the ratings weren't stellar so they had no investment in it.

So they did what they could with the time they had to be able to close out all the stories, but leave some crumbs in case it did get a miracle new chance.

I know I'm in the minority but one of my daughters ( who got me into Roswell) was around 15 when we saw the last eppie together so I liked that they waited till they were married to consummate in private. We have a zillion fan fics to read about that if we want ok don't shoot me
