The way Diane was freaking in the aftermath about Max. Made me think it was rash on Phillip, and more his move than Diane's. She would have continued to be oblivious if it meant her son was at home. To Isabel it sounded that Max was more her favorite than her daughter was. Which had to frustrate Isabel, and why she battled with Diane over the wedding, which definitely Diane didn't agree with... Yeah, I liked Max and Michael as roommates. But yeah it gave them more laditude. But it didn't stop Phillip's questions, and just egged it on. __________________

Was Philipp supposed to call at the board school where Liz was, and her roommate told him Liz had to return to Roswell because her boyfriend died?

Tells me they might have done more with that if they hadn't cut those episodes. So, they cut the scene. But would have loved how that had sounded to Phillip. And Michael might not have gotten over Max's death once Max took back the seal as easy, and it might led to more. __________________

Yeah I feel like Max/Liz had a lot to talk about there but for Katims it was more important that Liz and Tess have a closure and it would have been interesting to see the Liz/Max/babyZan dinamic in that one week.

OK outside of Tess trying to seal Liz's man I always thought the two had a soft spot for one another. Ok Ok I know ducks and hides from angry dreamers
Anyway what I mean is they had a friend enemies relationship meaning I think if Tess was after another guy then her and Liz could of actually of been friends. You see glimpses of their friendship in Tess Lies and Video Tape and in Crazy. Even after all they went though you can see how Liz didn't want Tess to be thrown into the White Room and how Tess wanted to make amends for all the harm she had done. is: So you're really gonna go and do this huh? Tess: At least I can do one good thing with my life. Liz: You just did. Hey, Tess. You're not going to let them throw you in the white room are you? Tess: No. She gets out of the car. Burns her way through the fence. Liz hears Shouting and gunfire and then the place blows up. Ok now back to Max and Liz Dreamer land where all is well and Tess is on a galaxy far far away. __________________

Even if I put my hardcore status as Dreamer aside. I really don't think they would have been friends. I think Liz had the sense that Tess was up to something, from the very beginning. Even if you took Max out of the equation. Being that immediately on her arrival, she played games and got Max to kiss her.
Now Ava was someone different, and I see there was a soft part there if she had stayed around. She was different. But the real Tess. Nah, she was different because of how she was raised. Liz was compassionate, but for both of them to really form a friendship, I doubt it. I think Tess saw Liz as a non factor. Naive. But who knows if everything was different. Friendships can be with contrasting personalities. __________________

I was never a fan of the Dupes. So I didn't need to see it. But I guess I could if only to confirm the fact that maybe there was a Liz on Antar and Zan was just waiting her, and Tess was just the average Royal mate required by being King and needing a Queen.
The fact Max fell for Liz on Earth, in third grade. That has to mean there was more than the simple fact that she was cute, and he was different, and she was the first girl he saw. There was no one else but her. Which has to mean right that there had to be a Liz on Antar. Ava seems to think Dupe Zan was waiting for someone else, and her eyes went wide when she realized that Max had healed Liz. That would have been the only good to see... __________________

I wish we had seen more of Ava as the season went on. I agree the dupes storyline was pointless to me as well. I wanted more Zan is anything and wanted to know what happened to all of them at the end of Max in the City.

As I have said before. I do think they cared about Liz, and she was important. She was treated better as a character than Max was... Max who turned abrasive and a jerk in the end of Season 2, and dabbled in it early in Season 3. Before he saw the errors of his ways. Liz on the other hand did some questionable things, but she always had the better excuse. For the greater cause. Solving Alex's death.
Of course they could have done things better. The show was struggling for it's run, and we were fortunate to get to Season 3. There was a lot of network interference late Season 1 and for Season 2. I think they could have done much with the stories, if only the show was more of a hit. Still, Liz looked the best. Max is the one who drove the audience away. I don't blame him for Tess because Liz is the one who threw him at her, and she stayed away, pushed him away. And he's a teenage boy, and they are very weak at times when someone wants them. Liz and he had just had that blow out. Which he was looking the worse of the two. It was because it was a story drive by finding more about Max's history and she was the human in the story. But I never didn't think they didn't care. I do think they could have done some stuff differently. __________________

Maybe they didn't care enough, I mean the way Liz was treated at the end of s2 and the first episodes of s3..
