Honestly, it would be surprising if there is Nothing. The cast is still friends, at least BF and MF. NW would accept coming for a photoshoot, SA and JB too. KH is the only one I see missing out on a reunion/photoshoot.

What I Don't get is that, even if the original actors didn't want to commit to a full series, there was still a way to bring back OUR Roswell, with a few cameos or our Roswellians appearing from time to time... if they used the kids saved by Max. Honestly, I would have watched that show with those children having powers, looking for answers, looking for OUR Roswellians, and ending up in a double war with the Secret Services AND the antarians.
With our Roswellians appearing from time to time to point them towards the right direction or to save them or train them. __________________

I agree. I wonder if in the episode that Shiri directed for Roswell New Mexico if she or anyone else from the cast makes a cameo?
If they wanted an interesting reboot story they could of done it on Max's son Zan. __________________

I don't know why nobody ever thought about that. Maybe because sequels aren't trendy, compared to reboots. __________________

Totally agree.
I mean why do a reboot at all if it dosen't follow the original storyline. They could of done it on baby Zan for all I care. Who greenlighted the reboot is beyond me. __________________

The show was greenlit because it was very 2019, very PC. Nowadays, it's more important than a good story or an original one . So watching Charmed, Roswell NM or another show, they all look alike. At least, there was a difference of treatment between Buffy or our Roswell, now you know what those rebooted shows will incorporate in their PC storylines.

It's the lack of originality that bothers me. Sure, Roswell was based on books. But there are thousands/millions of books out there. Grab another one and make a show from it. Why does Roswell need to be remade again? It's not like it was a best-selling series?

Add that it airs on the CW, where ratings can be very low and shows still survive (I wish the channel which aired Roswell back then had had that politic, the show would have lasted more than 3 seasons) plus the PC storyline meaning that the social medias will pick up on it and support it... it can last two or three seasons. Until something new and shiny comes. But I think it will be quickly forgotten. __________________

I just really don't know what to say. I feel like the VERY odd one out here in saying that I am loving the reboot of Roswell.
Its FANTASTIC that it has brought the Original book series back into print, it has brought the original show back onto the radar and New fans of the 1999 show are being born. This is a good thing. Its really proving that the spark never was gone. I believe very strongly this is going to give the original show hope. __________________

I totally understand how it can be frustrating to be a fan of the new show, and come in here and see us bitching. And I do apologize for that, it's just...there are alot of feelings involved I think my issue is that reboots in general just piss me off, especially when they are 20 years later or less.
I actually didn't know that the original books were being brought back into print, so that's nice tbh. The best case scenario for me, out of all of this, is that a) the OG gets more fans and b) it could somehow get B&T on air. __________________
