I know quatum leap.....and I loved it, for its time.

I wonder what it'd be like in today's day and age....seems that the audience is more fickle now-a-days.

i loved Quantum Leap... it's one of my favorite shows of all time. it was kinda sad though the way it ended.

This was one of the best shows of all time. Sad when it ended, and out of work. Such a well written show. More writers today need to watch this show before they write the crap that is on today. See not everything needs to be about T&A and sex. Quality rules.

I thought there was a thread for this show already I remember posting on it. Oh well, I love Quantum Leap one of my favorite shows of all time. I own season 1 -4 on dvd.

The way it ended was sad but I can't say that I would have accepted a happy ending. I think that the end was sad but beautiful as well. Sam's work was not done yet there is so much more he could do and I wouldn't trust anyone else to get it done.

What do you think about this new show Journey Man? I think it's a QL rip off.

Is Journey Man on yet. I heard about that show. Same show except he keeps his body. Just a bit of a steal. Sliders also. At least Sliders totally different direction and audience. I grew up on the set of Quantum Leap. My dad was a 1st AD and UPM for, I think, 3 years. Was a cool show to be a kid and watch film. The Civil War episode was my favorite to watch film.

I wish they went deeper into the "Evil Leaper" plot line. The show ended that way because in the old days when they wrote and filmed the last episode the didn't know they were canceled. Network executives had a clue back then and waited till the end of the season to make final decisions. Now they make choices before a season starts. Sometimes.

Journey Man doesn't start until the fall. I can't say that I'm too stoked about it.

Did anyone here realize that Quantum Leap was a reworking of the original Battlestar Galactica's spin off television series? It was called Battlestar Galactica 1980. It was eventually released onto DVD as 'the final season for the original BSG series.'

I had no idea there was going to be a convention for it. I honestly had no clue that fandom for QL was that big.


Ok, I get a long of things, I don't get how BSG 1980 is the groundwork for QL...explain yourself.

The convention is called Leap Back, both Scott and Dean are going and over 40 guest stars I'm making the trip over from England and really looking forward to it. I've been to Quantum Leap conventions before but never one this big.
