I can understand that, I did not like that incarnation of ST. It was as bad as DS9.

It sounds like Scott is going to be very busy he's got the second lead (opposite Matt Damon) in Steven Soderbergh's The Informant. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in this.

JC, why'd you have to go there.....now I have to defend DS9....especially the last 4 seasons.....sigh.

I saw that he was on Informant....I just wonder if it will help him out. After being on Quantum Leap and Star Trek....is he type cast?

Does anyone know what happened with the convention? Did it happen already? Did anyone go?

I loved this show, although I lost track of it and then it got cancelled. I've bought the first couple seasons on DVD and plan on buying the rest. This was back in the day when a lot of network TV shows were created and written by private writers and their companies, instead of the crap on tv today, where most of them are penned and produced by the networks themselves, and are unoriginal and uninspired cookie cutter garbage. Quantum Leap was by Bellisario. (although I didn't care for JAG and don't watch NCIS, he did those as well.) He and Stephen J. Cannell each wrote a lot of great shows during the 80s and early-90s.

There is actually an interesting article about Bellisario on Wikipedia.

Hey E7, how's it been going?

I quite agree. The cookie cutter, forumlaic crap we're force fed wouldn't even hold a candle, in most case. I can still name a few where the writing is superb, but just a few.

Not yet, it starts on the 27th march. I'm going, is anyone else?

This was a great series, one of the few I watched back then.

Enjoy your re-watch!

Years back they were airing it here and I caught a few eps on a day where the internet was down I wanted to see it from the beginning but never got to until a few months back when I finally became determined and got the DVDs from the library (well libraries... Got two in one place, three in another ) Now I've seen them all, but I wanted to add them to my collection
