I like some of the newer characters, but I don't especially care about them. It's the older characters I care about, and those are likely to be all gone soon.

Unlikely. Most of them are not as well cast as the old ones. And some of the most central of the new ones are characters I dislike -Spider Man, Doctor Strange, the Black Panther, Captain Marvel.
