LOL!! FINALLY a good Stargate thread...yeah I watched the "From Stargate to Atlantis" and it was HILARIOUS!!....and did anybody notice that the Wraith look like Elves from the Dark Side...heh. And all of Teyla's people looked like they were from Rohan!! Cool and strange at the same time...I love the look and feel of Atlantis, but they cant possibly replace the old team. And yeah, WHATS WITH THE HAIR?? Since when has he had hair??
...I think I feel something!...It might be lunch related... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! __________________

I totally loved Stargate Atlantis. I watched it expecting to be semi interested. It surprised me at how good it was.
I've missed a lot of SG1 episodes but it's worth watching just to hear Jack's latest. |

It's a special magic with Stargate that makes you wanna watch. And I have to join the gang and express my absolut love for the friendly bickering between Jack & Daniel.
I just watched Crystal skull and when Daniel's grandfather tells them that Daniel's standing right beside him. NICK: Daniel's Standing right beside me. O’NEILL (sarcastically): He’s lost a few pounds. DANIEL: Jack don’t be an ass. NICK (repeating his words): Jack don’t be an ass. They all seem surprised. O’NEILL: DANIEL? Yeah, I gotta say, Jack and Daniel are really fantastic when they go back and forth like that...did anybody catch that line in the first episode of "Atlantis" where Jack was walking into the Antarctica base and Daniel greeted him? Something to the effect of:
JACK: Ok, lets just cut to the part where you start talking really really fast. Which, of course, Daniel proceeds to do. **Grins** W00T!! New Stargate episodes tomorrow!! YAY!! *Does happy dance** And by the way, thanks everyboy for the warm welcome!! Oh, yeah, and to Suzanne, the Orcs are classic, but I wasn't comparing them to the the Wraith...it was badass Elves I was referencing...LOL!! __________________

Leah_the_Dark1 - you're probably talking about different Elves, but the Wraith remind me physically of the underground living, corrupted Elves in an old D&D computer game I have. They are also blue with white hair.
Out of curiosity: why do so many people find Teyla annoying? Regarding Jack's queries about Teal'c's hair, remember back at the beginning of season 2 when Teal'c had that blond soul patch-thing on his chin and Daniel tried to ask about it? He also go shut down and the question was never answered. |
