I did not like the scene they choose to keep of him just walking way after there mother died. It's like I get it he's having a hard to expressing his feelings.

It was such a weird choice. We had the still of him talking and then the hug and yet they choose the walking away portion???

I hope whoever replaces Miguel Sapochnik as on of the writers on the show makes better choices.

Yep. I've learned in these 6 episodes that I'm not the biggest fan of his. Which is weird, perhaps I wasn't this invested in GOT because it never bothered me this much. But hearing him talk and the choices he makes... No thank you.

I know ever time I hear him talk about the show I'm like did I watch the right episode.

Right??? That man has no idea what story they're actually telling and showing. It's such a disconnect. And then having fans who follow his words religiously, I'm so confused. Just watch the show, they're telling the story. If he has to explain and his explanation makes no sense, there's two options. 1. They didn't tell the story in a clear and correct way or 2. that person doesn't know the story they're telling.

I think this season would have 10 times better in someone else's hands.

Very possible. It's not bad by any means but some things were choices that shouldn't have been made. It will be interesting to see the difference in season 2.

Me to it should be interesting.

This season started out well enough and is still a good show but I'm started to wonder if this is were he started to really struggle and by the end he was just done.

I mean, it - apparently - was the plan from the start that he would leave after one season but perhaps there was this feeling of "It's almost done. Just get to the end." which is kind of sad.

Also, would love to see more female writers and directors. They've proven to be superior.
