I read Adam hasn't been happy with some of the changes this season on the show plus the fact that he hasn't had a contestant in the finale in about 3 seasons. I think he's lost interest

I didnt like the dumb round they had this year. It kinda screwed everything.

And yeah, it wouldnt be very fun when none of the people you pick get through. I dont necessarily love the people america chooses either, they are always the same sort of type. Country singers or powerhouse females it seems.

I think Adams problem is that he picks really artsy type of people that america just doesnt connect with.

What was the “dumb” round they had this season?

I cant remember what it was called. Cross Battles I think? Where one coach picked an artist and then the coach they wanted to "challenge" and then that coach picked someone on their team.

I think it was dumb because if adam challenged blake with this great singer, then blake of course was going to pick a great singer to go against him so he would have a chance at winning. so that means two great singers are against one another and one goes home. Where as two not very good people might be paired and then one will stay. So I just think a lot of really good people went home that round.

Also Blake had SO many of his team members go through and I think people tend to vote on the coach they like, especially at that stage of the game because they barely know the contestants ya know? SO i feel like a lot of blakes people went through purely because they like blake.

Oh, wow. That does sound like it was a bit complicated and unfair.

I know some people prefer The Voice to American Idol, but I really do like Idol better because there's no "battles" or anything. The contestants strictly perform on their own each week (minus the Group Rounds & stuff during Hollywood Week, but that's up to the judges who go through)…

What I like about the Voice is there is no age limit

I dont like the themes on idol. I also feel like Idol is very fake feeling and cheesey. That show and americas got talent are just so over the top with how they are edited, it bugs me. On top of that, I dont like the AI judges. lol.

I think the voice is a lot more interesting too. I love the blinds. I love the battles. I like how they get down to the top 12 and then we dont have to sit through the live rounds too long. I get bored of those. I just like how the judges have to decide between two artists, I find that fun. And the competition aspect with a coach winning is fun too imo.

She's a little over the top but I don't mind her too much. The worst season was when Nikki Minaj and Mariah Carey were judges

I thought I wouldn’t be able to stand her, but she’s actually not that bad. She toned down a lot the second season. I would never be able to watch a show with Taylor Swift. I actually refused to watch one of The Voice segments when they had Taylor on as a mentor a couple of years ago.

On The Voice Blind Auditions I watch the judges fight it out for the contestants. I FF through most of the other rounds during the judges comments. On Idol, pretty much the same I watch the auditions and judge comments but during the rest of the shows I FF through the judges comments.
