Top Chef #1: All-Stars

Top Chef - Season 8 - Bravo TV Official Site

Loving this season. Lots of my favorites are competing this time around. What are you guys thinking? Who do you think's going to win? Who can't you stand that's still there? And what do you think of the challenges this season? Sound off.

Judge: "why al dente?"
Carla: "I said al done te" lol Oh Carla!

I was so glad that Carla pulled off the win for her team during the elimination challenge. i thought she might get discouraged from her loss during the quick fire challenge, but she didnt and she took home the ultimate win! But I want her to step out of her comfort zone, and try making other dishes aside from vegetable plates.

Angelo needs to keep his hands and ideas to himself, but i think the other chefs are intimidated by him because he is a strong competitor, and because of his mutiple wins they tend to want to trust his judgement, when they should just stick to their own instincts.

And Jamie??!! I was pissed when she said that she was upset that she didnt get to present her dish, when in her earlier commentary that night she was actually happy about the thought of not getting to present. I was glad that Richard called her out. Hopefully in the next challenge she actually performs, though I dont care too much for her.

Angelo, i think he might win it. If not him maybe Ricard, Marcel or Trey.

Jamie again skated by. I was shocked that Casey was let go for not getting those chicken feet cooked right even though she left it up to her team to complete the dish snce she was up front. I guess the service and food not being available is also the trigger for her being tossed out.

A shame, but they always get rid of a heavy contender during Restaurant Wars. But there really was a clear winner. Fabio is such a charmer, so not picking him was like a death wish. Plus the other team just had things more...together.

I will say, GOD, I cannot stand Dale. And ack, he's winning challenges and immunity. I'd hate to see him win this all. I think he's atleast finale bound at this point. Which I hate to think, I really can't stand him, ugh.

Why such disdain towards Dale? Call me a kook, but I'm rooting for Carla.

I think his own disdain how he treats others as if they are less then the slime he could wipe off his shoes is why Dale isn't that popular. We all get it, he is a good chef. Just get a little bit of humility.

Fabio cracks me up and he has seems to be mr affable at least to Richard.

Yes, that sums it up. Plus, I don't think he's the best in that group.

I love Carla. I'd love to see her win. And since Casey's gone, her chances are greater.

Did you all see that Marcell is having his own show? It's called NitroMarcell. Will be on SyFy or at least while i was watching Being Human I caught the promo on that channel. I doubt i will watch it.

Trey's gone.

Yeah, I remember reading about it months ago. And then I saw a preview during Being Human.

I was here/there with Trey. He did nothing for me. I kinda wish Dale went home instead, though.

Padma seemed genuinely sad to see him go.

I missed the show. I looked on my cable guide to see if it was a new episode and didn't even see that it was on. Maybe I will go look up the recap. My sister told me Trey was the one who was told to pack up his knives.
