| There's something about her that bothers me a little but so far Padma is about ten times better than last season's host. Elia is my favorite. I don't think she's going to go all the way though. It was nice to see Harold again. __________________ That internet thing, it's a fad. Reality TV Icons // Matt & Julie // Stanley & Mimi Avatar by doesnotsway @ LJ | |||

| i like Sam ... probably b/c he's cute, lol. Ilan is intriguing ... and even though he may come off self centered and arrogant, i like Marcel too. he looks like a crazy scientist or something. while i thought it was wrong that Otto took the lychees (sp?) ... i still thought that the chick should have gone home this week, i don't think he should have bowed out of the competition. __________________ ~ Keish ~R.I.P Brad Renfro [1982-2008] | |||

| I am loving this show. And this comes from someone who doesn't enjoy reality television anymore. But, this is a great competition. What I can't stand is the people who complain that it's something they are not used to. Umm, did you think it was all fine dining? Come on! I'm rooting for Betty or Ilan...I'm not a fan of anyone else in the competition. Can't wait for them to get rid of Mike, Marcel, and Frank... | |||

| It was nice to see Harold again in the premiere episode. He seemed a bit arrogant, though. Did anyone else get that vibe? It was surprising that I thought that since I was a huge Harold fan during S1. No one really is standing out right now. I wasn't sad to see that one girl get the boot this past week. | |||

| I think Betty is a tough one to compete with. I tried her winning meal at T.G.I. Friday...it's awesome!!! ![]() | |||

| I liked Sam up until the point where he made the comment about flirting with the girls at the ice cream quickfire challenge. Then he went on to talk about how he was named one of New York's cutest chef's (or something like that) and that was such a turn off for me. | |||

| I finally caught up with this show. I like Sam too, and yeah, it's partly because he's cute. He seems competent too. I still like Elia and I'm starting to like Marisa more but I don't think she's going to last. She can't even win when she makes desserts, her specialty. I thought Emily was going to be the new Tiffani (snotty, not liking children, food snob) but she didn't last long enough. As soon as she showed her Tiffaniness, she was out. __________________ That internet thing, it's a fad. Reality TV Icons // Matt & Julie // Stanley & Mimi Avatar by doesnotsway @ LJ | |||

| Sam is my favorite too, he is good looking yes but he's also talented. Betty is a good chef as well but those pieces to camera (the ones where she is all made up) really annoy me; its like she's trying to be all dramatic or something and it doesn't really work ![]() The new presenter; Padma, is much better than Katie Joel so thats good ![]() __________________ Join The Avengers | |||

| who ended up leaving tonight? i was watching the ending of The Nine and didn't flip back on quick enough to see. i would just try to catch it in a re-run but it seems like Bravo never re-airs this like they used to re-air Project:Runway. or maybe i'm just missing it. lol. __________________ ~ Keish ~R.I.P Brad Renfro [1982-2008] | |||

| Nobody... ![]() Betty substituted her meal to keep it balanced within calorie count. Some other team members were using alot of olive oil in there dishes...so, they crowned Betty's team the winner. Then when it came to the losers confession, Sam opened his mouth and said teams were cheating. Then he was like "I'm not going to say who" and Mia goes ... "Betty!" ... and then the judges confronted everyone. Betty came clean. She came out and told them that she subsituted to keep the calorie count where it was...it was really emotional. So, they decided not to get rid of anyone. | |||

| I think it was a fair decision. Although I really don't get how Betty could not have known recipes couldn't be changed at all. Doesn't it just make sense that way? The olive oil is just shaaady. I wish someone/all of them were called out on doing it. __________________ Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake. Reality TV Whore: Who needs scripted TV? avatar credit | |||

| I thought it was a stupid move for Sam to be all casual "well people were cheating" and then Mia to just come out and say "Betty did it" and it questions whether or not I want them to succeed...if all they are doing is bringing people down with them. I just don't get it...it's so childish. I don't get Mike...I feel like he doesn't care and he's just there to piss people off. I think he should be the next to "pack his knives and go" because he's not even competition. His pitch to get the kids to eat there dish...pathetic. ![]() Last edited by smoothaise; 11-09-2006 at 10:50 PM. | |||

| I think it was right for them to call the cheaters out, although I don't agree with Sam's sort of halfway calling out - if you're going to do it, commit to it. But in general, I don't see anything wrong with what they did. It's possible the winning team only won because they changed up their recipe and it's very possible they went over their calorie limit even though Betty says she thinks they didn't. I mean, the other teams might've been able to do better had they changed up their recipes too so for only that one team to do it makes the whole thing unfair. If it was something trivial and they brought it up at judging, I'd agree, it's childish and irrelevant, but we're talking about the rules which Betty and others clearly broke. As for Mike, I agree, he's got to go. I thought he'd really use his chance to win the kids over with his pitch because I imagined him to be very enthusiastic and over the top. Even if I wanted to eat his team's dish, I might've passed on it because, hey, if the chefs don't seem to be proud of it, I'm not eating it. __________________ Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake.
