I picked #3.

The focus on the faces of Sam and Brooke is very effective. Facial close-ups are good stuff. The white picture frames against the colored background is also effective, with good contrast. The green-purple split coloring helps highlight the two separate groups of characters, popular and unpopular, and that divide is crucial to the show. Finally, the other characters are included in the background of the pictures. More representative.

And I don't mind it being "Final Season". I'm glad they didn't do a third season, because the show was badly declining by its end and I figure it would have gotten worse in season 3. Plus I really didn't like what I heard about plans for season 3.

I guess I would have found it amusing, but then again, I always liked the funnier plot lines of Popular myself.

The middle of Season two drug a bit, with Harrison's sickness being the focus. I was never a big Harry fan first of all, and secondly, it became too depressing. Popular just wasn't the type of show to deal with an issue like that, because there was no humor to be found. You can't tastefully potray someone dying of cancer and make it funny at the same time.

Once they got past that though I thought it picked back up pretty well again. The I Know What You Did Last Spring Break episode I thought was right on track with the Popular of Season one. So I was really looking forward to Season three. If only in the end to complete the horrible cliffhanger they left us with

I tied my mother down and had her watched Caged with me again tonight. I've seen it so many times and yet it still cracks me up.

Make sure to watch the Caged commentary, it's hysterical listening ot them all cracking up the entire episode

Wow, that "Caged" commentary alone is worth the thirty bucks I paid. It was great, I love commentaries with more than like three people, the Alias DVDs used to do that and I adore it. I think I worship Leslie Grossman, she's so darn funny. Seems like they're all on board for a reunion movie, where do we sign up to support that at?
