Same here. I haven't watched CSI in years, but I still smile whenever I catch an older episode on TV and there's a G/C scene.

They were the heart of the show me thinks. The later seasons - love them too but they seem disjointed without the GC banter and intimacy..

I actually think that's a definite possibility. It seemed like there was kind of this unsaid acknowledgment going on between them. Or maybe it even was said aloud before? What I love is that they have such a history together pre-show, so the possibilities are kind of endless. I guess you could imagine as much, or as little, having happened as you'd like.
